Perhaps because it is the only chapter, after the first, that begins at the top of a page. The decorative line from an earlier chapter was used.There is no section for streets and buildings beginning with the letter “I”. They are mixed in with the “J”s.Missing or obscured punctuation was silently corrected.Typographical errors were silently corrected.Inconsistent spelling and hyphenation were made consistent only when a predominant form was found in this book.
