ThisCaterpillarI took inHornsey-Wood on an Oak-Tree, at the BeginningOctober, soon after which Time it chang’d to aChrysalis, by fastening the Oak-Leaf close to the Bottom of the Box I kept it in with a Spinning. Thus it remained through the Winter, and theMothwas bred at the End ofMay. BothCaterpillarandFlyare very rare.
