[77]While these sheets were waiting for the press, the hand of death has removed our friend, the Rev. W. H. Massie, to his reward in heaven. Of him it may truly be said, that, having done his Master’s work upon earth, he has now gone aloft to be partaker of His glory! May the mantle of this modern Elijah fall on his successor, the Rev. C. Bowen! An elegant stained glass window, raised by public subscription to the honour of Mr. Massie, will shortly beautify the chancel of this Church.
