UPPER SECTION: With right side of sole toward you, attach White in 4th st from center of toe, working in back loop of sts only work 1 s c in each st all around leaving 7 sts free at center of toe, ch 1, turn.2nd ROW: Working in both loops of sts work 1 s c in each s c, ch 1, turn.3rd ROW: Skip 1 s c, work in s c dec 3 sts evenly spaced at heel and omitting the last s c, ch 1, turn.4th ROW: Work in s c dec 1st and last st at each side of toe, ch 1, turn.5th ROW: Work 1 s c in each s c, work 1 s c on side of next 4 rows, working all around toe of boot, 1 s c in both loops of 7 free sts of toe, 1 s c on side of next 4 rows, join in 1st s c, ch 1, turn.6th ROW: Skip 1st s c, work in s c dec 2 sts at center of toe, join, cut yarn, turn.NEXT ROW: Attach yarn in 9 (11, 13) st from joining and work to corresponding st on other side; 31 (35, 39) sts, ch 1, turn. FINISHING: Sew back seam of boot tog. Insert sole section and sew in position.
POMPON: (Make 2): Wind Black 150 times over a 2 inch cardboard. Tie one end, cut other end. Trim into shape and sew in position.
EYELETS: With right side facing, attach yarn at top of boot, * ch 2, skip 2 sts, sl st in next 2 sts, repeat from * all around front of boot, cut yarn.LACING: Work a ch 18 inches long and lace through eyelets.
